Funding Compass

The client operates a funding agency. The situation was that there is no unified funding database in Germany. The only funding database operated by the federal government is poorly maintained, not up-to-date, and incomprehensible to many users because it uses bureaucratic language. Her wish was to create a system in which craftsmen, entrepreneurs and freelancers could find the right funding program with just a few clicks.

Together with co-founder Fabian Franz, a comprehensive application was created that searches the Federal Gazette daily for new funding calls and simultaneously translates them into easy-to-understand everyday language. A scoring system was developed that allows users to immediately see whether their project is eligible for funding and whether the time and financial effort for an application is worthwhile. In parallel, a community app was created within a few days that connects the funding portal with other companies, answers questions and shares news.
